Monday's Racing
We start off the week on a sour note. This Monday a couple of people who have unleashed heinous, despicable crimes on mankind celebrate their birthdays. The mere mention of these names will send a shiver down the spines of most men. What are these vile deeds you might well ask? Musical theatre and romantic comedies. *Shudder* Andrew Lloyd Webber will almost certainly be thinking about retiring (fingers crossed) now that he's 62 and Reese Witherspoon is only 34, but it would be nice if she was considering the same thing - if only to save us from any more Sweet Home Alabamas. Today's racing comes from Kelso, Plumpton and and Wolverhampton. Don't forget, we pay out on disqualified winners and official result on all UK & Ireland races.

A White Battle On Our Hands
Not so long ago it looked like Leeds were romping unstoppably towards the Championship but a stuttering start to the New Year has ensured that they've got a real battle on their hands as we reach the final stretch of the season. In stark contrast, Millwall have strung some decent form together and are closing in on that second automatic promotion place. That adds some spice to what's already a pretty spicy showdown at Elland Road. "It's a big game, but games against Millwall never need building up anyway," says Leeds boss, Simon Grayson, which we understand to be manager-speak for "we both hate each other." It's not going to make anything official, but if Leeds claim all three points, they'd disprove the theory they're fluffing their Lions when it really matters. Mon. 7.45pm SS1

I'm Zo Honoured
Michael Mancienne has been a bit misty-eyed of late. He's been recalling those days long ago when as a boy, he'd watch Gianfranco Zola at Stamford Bridge. He makes it sound all flat caps and clackers, but in fact it was more hoodies and knives because it was only 2003. During his time as a Chelsea trainee, Mancienne became a huge fan of Zola and is really looking forward to hopefully crossing paths with him when West Ham travel to Molineux. "I never had a chance to speak to him personally because I was only about 8 or 9 at the time," he said, suggesting he was a late developer on the intellectual front - even for a footballer. If Mancienne could help Wolves to victory it would seriously Ham-per his hero's chance of keeping the Irons up. Tue. 8pm SS2 – Premier League Matches
Flat Jockeys' Championship
Hard To Beat
We were utterly stunned to hear the news that someone punched Kieren Fallon at Lingfield. Really? Just the one person? Not a posse out to exact revenge for his various indiscretions down through the years? Alleged indiscretions and all that. Owner, David Reynolds gave Fallon a dig because in his view, the jockey’s ride on Elna Bright had cost his horse a chance of victory. Not displaying the traditional signs of shock, Fallon gave his summary of events. "He came up behind me when I was unsaddling, but I'm alright – he hits like a girl," said the six-time Champion Jockey. The UK flat season gets underway this Saturday and although it's only Fallon's first full season since returning from a ban, could he make a serious assault on the Flat Jockeys' Championship?
FHM Sexiest Woman 2010
Strange Carrie On
Cheryl Cole soon to be Tweedy says she's not all that interested in pursuing a career in the movies because she "loves music too much." We've heard some of her solo stuff and those aren't the sounds someone with a love of music would make, but we'll take her word for it. She does have a vagina however and therefore a love of Sex And The City so if the opportunity of a cameo in the movie sequel ever came up, she'd jump at the chance. "My PA reckons I'm half-Carrie, half-Charlotte. Not sure if that's a good thing or not," she said. It all depends on the half really, Cheryl. Get the half containing Sarah Jessica's horseface and it might be a prolonged spinsterhood. As it stands, it looks like the Girl Aloud is a very stable bet to be crowned FHM’s Sexiest Woman 2010.
UK General Election Odds
Can't Have It Vote Ways
With a General Election looming large on the horizon, Alistair Darling probably wishes he could announce a budget where the Queen covers everyone's tax bill, there's a special 1000% VAT rate for any one who buys a Jedward record and people who make reality TV shows must buy everyone in the country a new car to offset the pain caused by their produce. It won't happen however and as Darling says "There is no question of giveaways. People want to see a sensible, workmanlike Budget." Really? Granted we don't know much about Chancellor of the Exchequering, but have these people seen our proposals yet? They'd go down a storm. Even with some hard Labour is there any chance this government will be in power after the UK General Election? Electionbetting.com
