Premier League Betting

Following a controversial round of World Cup play-off matches we return to Premier League action this weekend with Manchester City’s trip to Liverpool the stand out game.

Both side’s are not in the best of form at the minute and despite suggestions before the season started that a title challenge was not beyond either neither side look poised to make that move. (more…)

World Cup 2010 - Qualifying Play-Offs

Ireland need to turn around a one goal deficit against France if they are to reach only their second major finals since 1994. A second-half Nicolas Anelka strike was enough to give the French victory in Dublin on Saturday and it means Giovanni Trapattoni’s men must score in the Stade de France.

Six of the last 10 Ireland matches have ended all square and they only managed to score more than once in one World Cup qualifier (a 2-1 win in the opening group game against Georgia). (more…)

The Cottagers are unbeaten in Europe with one win and two draws and can put themselves in a good position to progress to the next stage with three points in Italy. (more…)

Champions League

Manchester United can confirm their place in the Champions League 1st Knockout round with a victory over CKSA Moscow at Old Trafford.

The Reds have won three out of three in Group B this season and have a phenomenal record in Europe recently, having suffered their only defeat in 26 games at the hands of Barcelona in last year’s final. Since United travelled to Moscow and picked up a 2-0 win, the Muscovites have sacked Juande Ramos, following a spell of just 47 days at the club. I can’t see anything but a comfortable Utd win here with Sir Alex Ferguson wanting to get his side on form ahead of their massive clash with Chelsea next weekend. 3-0 Man U at 7/1 is my choice.
