When your secret General Election weapon is a man who is about as popular as the love child of Katie Price and Didier Drogba, you know that you have one or two electoral problems to overcome. And yet, Labour has this week decided to wheel out Tony Blair as their ’secret weapon’. And let’s be fair, Blair has a fair bit of previous when it comes to ’secrets’ and ‘weapons’, eh?
At the times of potential democratic difficulty – such as a hung Parliament – it is surely important for everyone to remain calm and work towards a solution that benefits the whole of Great Britain. We’re in danger of economic instability and a lack of foreign investment if we can’t sort a working Government out after the General Election.
Well, that’s what you’d have thought, isn’t it?
