Carling Cup Final

The first major domestic silverware of the season will be decided this Sunday as Aston Villa take on Manchester United in the Carling Cup Final at Wembley.

United have shown signs of taking this tournament more seriously in recent years with two of their three League Cup wins coming in the last four years. Chelsea Good Value to Give City the Blues

All in all, I expect Carlo Ancelotti wouldn’t have been too disappointed about Chelsea returning from their Champions League tie in Milan with just a one-goal deficit and the Premier League leaders should return to winning ways against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

While the Londoners were facing Inter, City were being dumped out of the FA Cup by Stoke and being taken to extra-time in the process. (more…)
