Premier League Betting

My first bet of the weekend is a double on Liverpool and Chelsea to both win. A £/€10 stake will see a return of over £/€30. Both sides are away with Chelsea at Villa and Liverpool at Sunderland. Sunderland will of course be buoyed by their performance last time out against United, but Liverpool know that recent results have let them back into the title chase and they will be gunning for 3 points, particularly after that Chelsea defeat.

Chelsea put their Wigan defeat behind them with the win over Liverpool 2 weeks ago and while Villa were impressive in their draw against Man City, I expect the squad factor to come into play after the international break. Chelsea are much better placed to keep their team fresh while Villa may be just a little bit tired after the international exertions.

Stoke have been quietly excellent this season. This weekend they are at home to a struggling West Ham team. Tony Pulis will surely see this as a great chance to take 3 points. I expect Stoke to win this one at 11/10.

There’s a big derby this weekend you might not know about - The Lancashire Derby between Blackburn and Burnley. This will be tasty to say the least and believe me there is no love lost between the supporters of each side. David Dunn is playing some great stuff for Rovers and Burnley are away from home so all signs point to a Blackburn win. Back Rovers to win at 3/4. David Dunn is 10/1 first goalscorer or 4/1 anytime. He likes a set piece too so I’d get on him one way or the other.
