Horse Racing Tips – Newbury, Saturday August 13th
This weekend there is some fantastic racing at Newbury to look forward to, and here are some selections I have highlighted that may run well.
In the Denford Stud Stakes, due off at 2:30, the selection must be Rougemont for Richard Hannon with jockey Richard Hughes set to continue winning ways.
They should know what is required to beat the danger here, Leggaa, who was beaten last time out by a Hannon horse.

In the CGA Geoffrey Freer Stakes I select Brown Panther as having a major chance on form having won 4 of 5 races.
This distance will be perfect, with 3 wins at different tracks over 1 mile 4 furlongs.
In the CGA Hungerford Stakes due off at 3:40, a chance can be given to Beacon Lodge with George Baker on board to old an each-way chance.
He has won 3 times at 7 furlongs at class 1 level and his race last time out at Goodwood shows he is in good order at present and can run well.
Lulla will be a warm order in the Bathwick Tyres European Breeders Fund Maiden Fillies Stakes off at 4:15.
She cannot be opposed as was beaten a head at class 2 level last time out and should win here comfortably with Dettori on board.
Newbury best bets:
2:30 – Roguemont.
3:05 – Brown Panther.
3:40 – Beacon Lodge.
4:15 – Lulla.
