As tipped up last weekend, the best bet was Pour Moi in the Epsom Derby, and what a fantastic race it was with the young jockey bringing the horse home from last to first to win by a head in a brilliant finish.
This weekend I have two bets highlighted that should be included in your punting.
The first horse is Confront who is entered at York for the handicap over the mile.
He has the required form to run very well in this race.
He has class 1 form over the distance and should be respected with most of his best results coming over the distance of 7 furlongs to a mile.
Both trainer and jockey are in good form and he should make an impact.

Next up is a horse called Night Carnation who is running at Sandown in the 5 furlong listed sprint.
Looking at the form over 5 furlongs this is the trip, a real speedy type that looks sure to be involved at the business end of the race.
He was beaten half a length in a listed event at Doncaster over 6 furlongs and has since won twice at the sprint distance; he holds a major chance on those runs.
He is on for the hat-trick of wins and must go close.
Saturday sees two races take place which are sure to attract a lot of interest from punters.
The Bond Tyres Trophy Stakes goes to post at 3.30, with Desert Law the 11/2 favourite from Acclamazing and Elusive Prince.
US Racing takes centre (center?) stage on Saturday evening as the final leg of the US Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes, gets underway at 11pm. Animal Kingdom and Nehro are 5/2 and 7/2 respectively for this thoroughbread Grade 1 race from Elmont, NY.
Best bets this weekend:
York 2:40 – Confront.
Sandown 3:30 – Night Carnation.
