2010 British Grand Prix Preview
Let’s take a look at the betting markets and some betting tips for the 2010 British Grand Prix at Silverstone this Sunday.
Outright Betting
The 2009 British Grand Prix champion, Sebastian Vettel, heads the betting at 11/5 followed closely by Englishman and 2008 champion Lewis Hamilton at 13/5.
Vettel recorded his second victory of the 2010 season at the European Grand Prix a couple of week’s ago but the German, who rides for Red Bull Racing, still trails Hamilton in the overall standings by twelve points.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso is priced up at an eye-catching 6/1 while Vettel’s teammate Mark Webber, who is a two-time winner in the F1 2010 season, is 9/2 in the betting for the 2010 British Grand Prix. The current F1 World Driver’s Champion Jenson Button is next in the betting at 13/2, while Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg takes the eye at 50/1.
Top 6 Finish Betting
Nico Rosberg has recorded two podium finishes so far in the 2010 season and currently dominates his new teammate, the seven-time world champion, Michael Schumacher. Rosberg has 6 top six finishes from nine races in 2010 and at 5/4 he looks to be one of the best betting tips for the British Grand Prix.
Pole Position
Lewis Hamilton is priced up at 5/2 but he has only recorded one pole position in the 2010 F1 season. Sebastian Vettel is the favourite for this market at 6/4 and rightly so. The German’s Red Bull RB6 has taken four pole positions in 2010. One interesting candidate is Vettel’s teammate Mark Webber, who is priced at 10/3. The Australian has recorded four pole positions during this season F1 World Championship and looks the value call betting-wise.
