RBS 6 Nations 2010

Matchday 4 of the RBS 6 Nations 2010 takes place this weekend. All eyes will be on Murrayfield as Scotland host England (8/15) for the Calcutta Cup.

The England starting XV shows two (surprising) changes to the side that lost narrowly to Ireland. Joe Worsley switches from the bench and replaces Lewis Moody while Louis Deacon comes in to replace the injured Simon Shaw in the second row.

Former England head coach Andy Robinson, who has rebuilt his career as the Scotland head coach, will be determined to deliver the Calcutta Cup.

Robinson and Scotland can take courage from their performance against Wales in Cardiff where they lost out narrowly. That result was bound to have a bearing on their next performance and it proved so with a defeat away to Italy.

Scotland are a tough proposition at Murrayfield and given the (weak) changes that England coach Martin Johnson has made to the side, I fully expect Scotland (13/8) to come out on top.

Elsewhere Wales (3/1) travel to Dublin to face Ireland (1/4). The Irish name an unchanged side, which saw off the challenge of England at Twickenham. I expect Ireland to dominate the Welsh side throughout and the best bet is Ireland to win by 11-15 points (11/2).

In the one remaining match (Sunday 14th) the unbeaten and formidable French side host Italy (16/1) in Paris. France (1/66) will be ultra confident of yet another victory in the Six Nations Championship.
