Stoke City Betting

Stoke’s decision to part company with long-serving Tony Pulis last season wasn’t a universally popular one but Mark Hughes will be hoping a summer’s recess will have given him some breathing time.

Stoke Hughes, himself, needs to prove his worth as a manager all over again after a torrid spell at QPR and will probably go down a different route to his predecessor in style of play, though haven’t been wholesale changes made so far in the playing staff. The first task will be turn the Britannia Stadium back into a fortress as City struggled last season without their formidable home record to fall back on. Dutch defender Erik Pieters may help plug a few goals at the back but the Potters could find themselves struggling for goals again this season and are again a short price in finish in the bottom half of the table and also feature prominently in the relegation betting.
