Tips
Verdict: This feels like one of the more interesting runnings of this in recent times, but there is little doubt that POINT OF LAW has the potential to be ahead of his mark, as the betting suggests, with his Geelong Cup success a fairly impressive one. He is unproven at the trip, but being by Frankel out of a Deep Impact mare, you'd be hopeful he'd stay. Joseph O'Brien has a strong team assembled, but a lot of them have been done few favours with the draw, although it's worth noting that Goodie Two Shoes was runner-up 12 months ago from stall 20, so none are safely ruled out. Hopewell Rock, another European raider, has scope for better and is fancied to go well, while the Australian-trained So You Are would be quite the story if he won given his rapid improvement for a new trainer.
