Verdict: His figures might not inspire confidence but ARD AS A ROCK showed good pace before fading at both Newbury and Goodwood. Lexington Boom is drawn wider but he looks a winning waiting to happen, while there are reasons for believing that Spectacular Diver and True Charm may also feature.
