Verdict: Several of these have shown ability in Pattern races. Aidan O'Brien won this last year and has the highest-rated runner in Carry The Flag. However, he is more of a sprinting type and could be outstayed by GREEN DREAMER (nap), who ran a fine race over the C&D in the Futurity before going up in trip for the Golden Fleece. The National Stakes fourth Trean, the Anglesey Stakes winner Ballinea Star, and the Windsor Castle winner King Of Cloughan are strong contenders.
