Verdict: An improved display over a shorter trip here at the festival gives BELLE NUIT good prospects of a breakthrough win. There is plenty of stamina on her dam's side, and she is slightly preferred to Party Dress, who stays further than this. Sylkie is noteworthy as a three-time course winner. Shambata is a lightly-raced filly who may improve. Canon Law could go well despite being 4lb wrong. [Alan Sweetman]
