Verdict: Willie Mullins can start the week on a good note with WITCHES FAMILIAR, a comfortable winner at Ballinrobe on her hurdling debut. The champion trainer should have a good idea of what will be needed against his former inmate Mino Des Mottes who was getting plenty of weight when beating a Closutton runner at Bellewstown. Carmel's Phoenix was a handsome winner from Elliott and Mullins runners at Kilbeggan and may be good enough to get in the mix, along with Arouet. [Alan Sweetman]
