Verdict: The prizemoney has more than doubled from last year and this is a tremendous renewal with eight Pattern winners and six individual Group 1 winners in the line-up. HM Alchahine is the top-rated runner but has been a shade disappoining this season and will need to settle better than he has in recent outing. The yard and ownership have a strong second string in RB Kingmaker, and he may well do better of the pair, although he would probably prefer further. Lacaro Du Croate arrives in career best form for a yard having a stellar season and defeated LIPPO DE CARRERE by 1 1/4 lengths at Longchamp on soft ground in May. However, on this faster surface and with a likely strong pace chase expect the form to be reversed here.
