Tips

Verdict: Paper View is on a hat-trick but this is a different kettle of fish altogether than beating a small field at Ripon four days ago, with a whole host of interesting nursery newcomers to deal with. York winner PERSIAN SPRING is readily forgiven his no-show in the Norfolk at Royal Ascot and, if he is bordering on Group class (he has a Mill Reef entry) he'll be very competitive off this mark. That York form brings Clash Of Hearts firmly into the equation, while the unexposed Revels commands respect on similar grounds to the selection. However, second choice is The Dancing Pirate, who is coming along nicely and whose excellent pedigree suggests further improvement should be forthcoming as he gains experience.[Alistair Jones]
