Verdict: The return to slow ground may well be a positive for LOPEO, who has had a two-month break since flopping at Newmarket in July. Mythical Bay did well to remain in the firing line until the final furlong in the Melrose at York, given he failed to settle and raced wide, and he may be the chief danger ahead of Melrose runner-up Galilean Quality.
