Verdict: Blakefell has been knocking on the door in his last two starts and is strongly respected off the same mark as for his second at Musselburgh last week. Class-dropper Comic Hero needs a close look back from a break, while Shaman Champion and Manly Fireball are also in the mix. However, the vote goes to the unexposed RAGGAAS (nap), who is bred to be useful and found plenty of progress with a comfortable win on his handicap debut at Redcar last month. [David Moon]
