Verdict: It's hard to dismiss any of these and the tentative selection is A GREAT EXCUSE who won for Max Comley last December, has wind surgery since and is now with the Twiston-Davies yard who are going well. Mersey Street (second choice) looked good when winning twice over fences and his run last month was clearly needed given how he tied up.
