Verdict: Preference is for REGULUS BLACK (nap), who won in good style at Chepstow on his penultimate run and didn't seem to quite get home over 1m3f at Hamilton last time. He still has potential and is a big player on this drop back in trip. Second choice is Baldosa, who has run well upped to 1m2f in her last two runs including on fast ground at Wetherby last time. Another to keep an eye on is Roger Varian's filly Sound Gloria, who is a possible improver at this new trip on her handicap debut.[David Moon]
