Tips
Verdict: While she didn't go with much sparkle last time, it'll be no great surprise if SHEZA ALIBI bounces back, dropped in trip and returned to the scene of some of her peak performances. Whether you'll want to take the likely odds-on to find out if she's back at her best is open to debate but her claims are obvious. Beiwacht is an interesting contender. He was third in the Silver Eagle here over shorter two weeks ago, behind Apocalyptic and Skyhook, but ahead of plenty he takes on again. While it's not bang on and he was beaten in the 7.5f George Ryder Stakes in March, he's never lost over 7f and connections may have been aiming towards this back up in distance. Autumn Boy wasn't at his best in the Epsom last time over C&D, but had previously run with credit behind the selection in the Makybe Diva Stakes. He's more than capable of being involved if recovering his form. It's noteworthy that new connections of Amazing Journey are getting in Saffie Osborne to ride considering she was aboard for her father when the 3yo won at Ascot over 7f when last seen in July. Stall 15 is a slight concern but he can give a good account. [David Toft]
