Tips
Verdict: Blake's Monarch (second choice) hasn't been seen out since finishing in midfield in Royal Ascot's Norfolk Stakes (had wind surgery and also gelded) but holds the clear form edge on that effort and is much respected. However, preference is for Karl Burke's MUGHEER who created a good impression when making a winning debut at Catterick and looks open to a fair bit of progress. Paphos shaped well when fifth on his Musselburgh debut and appeals as the pick of the rest.[Peter Entwistle]
