Verdict: If there's a superstar in the line-up it's probably Saber Strike, who boasts an unbeaten record and brings stacks of potential. The William Haggas-trained colt commands major respect but it was hard not to be impressed by last month's wide-margin handicap winner CATULLUS (nap), and he can enhance Charlie Appleby's fine recent record in the Jersey. Last year's winning trainer Ed Walker has a persuasive candidate in The Prettiest Star, while Into The Sky is another who should be suited by dropping back in distance. Neolithic, Avicenna, Colori Forever and America Queen are others with possibilities.[Richard O'Brien]
