Tips

Verdict: As a win and place bet, CAVALRY GIRL makes as much appeal as anything. This represents a rise in class but she's in form, having won over C&D last time, and has race-fitness on her side. If the ground went soft it would increase her chance. Natural Fling is arguably the most interesting one in this field, as she was a Group 3 winner (5f110yds, good to soft) three weeks ago. Getting plenty of weight from her older rivals, she has leading claims if the outside stall doesn't prove too hard to overcome. Former Everest winner Giga Kick remains capable of great form in this grade. This looks his best opportunity for a while, and has to be feared. The filly My Gladiola, who won a Group 3 here in the past, has shown the ability to run well in top-class sprints, but she's been absent since finishing seventh behind Geegees Mistruth in the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes in April.
