Verdict: This is well-contested and should throw up plenty of future winners. Wise Maiden was impressive at Aintree and can continue on an upward curve, but she'll need to be well above average to give weight and a beating to several promising sorts. Top of the list is Jamie Snowden's CHICKS FOR FREE whose Irish point win was achieved with plenty in hand. Alabama Way, also 1-1 in points, may prove the main danger, although Moral Compass, Supastrong, Moorland Belle and Mariah's Dream are just four more to consider in a fascinating finale.[Richard O'Brien]
