Verdict: Three of these arrive following a win this month and it's a warm little race but preference is for PADDY O'MAHLER, who was progressive during last season's novice campaign and returns with his stable among the winners. Perhaps the 6yo Sledgehammer will prove the chief threat following the win at Hexham on his stable debut, but Slaney Opera (third choice) and Upfordebate also have good claims.[Ben Hutton]
