Verdict: When this race was originally scheduled, top-class mare Zanoosh (an absentee now) was set to be a short-priced favourite, The Big Clubman had shortened in the betting as second favourite, while MODE AVION (nap) was a market drifter. However, with the benefit of a run over fences five weeks ago, Gordon Elliott's runner can beat Paul Nolan's chasing newcomer. Changeyourstars, a useful novice hurdler last season, who would prefer further than this. [Alan Sweetman]
