Verdict: Although a maiden, COUNTY CHAMPS ran well in some big fields and he's interesting on his debut for Chris Gordon, especially with Harry Cobden 7-24 for the yard. Trouville was useful on the Flat, has made a pleasing start over hurdles and he should continue his good work in handicaps. Tintintin is too well treated to ignore.[Alistair Jones]
